The entrance to my apartments building.
Here are two of the three security guards, getting ready for their shift change.
This place comes complete with a cell phone, hi speed wireless, cleaning service twice a week and a Vonage phone with unlimited free calls to the US.
The kitchen is completely stocked with every thing you need, including a nice variety of liquor.
Maria the cleaning lady, even brings me fresh flowers on her Monday cleanings.
The TV certainly wont be getting used, but the CD player pretty much plays none stop.
The view of a little park, which is much quieter than being on the street. Some of the tombs tops from the Recoleta cemetery can barely be seen in the distance.
Caution, is what those black and yellow strips mean! My head didn't stand a chance against this 10" steel beam, which I should have known as it was clearly built for a "MAX" height clearance of 5'10". Check out the arched brick sealing, which was shamefully painted white.

Damn, I'd be losing teeth on that beam. I sent you an email of the snow...can't figure out how to post it in my comment here. I'll leave that to you.
Having free calls to the home country of the tourist should be a feature that all companies have. Last year I got one of those apartments in Buenos Aires and I suddenly felt the urge to call to my mom because I sensed that something was wrong. I called and she had cought the flu so I was able to call a nurse to go pick her up. Thanks god I had the free phone calls, it would have cost me a fortune!
